Me and my P.I.C. were at the shuttle stop earlier and a couple was waiting there as well. Now I know there are alot of everyday couples, especially white and Asian couples in UCSD, who walk around but this particular one caught my eye. The guy was this dorky-looking white guy who was wearing glasses and a red Disney Winnie the Pooh crew neck sweater who was kissing his girlfriend at the top of her head. And the girl was this petite Asian girl who was dressed in something you'd call "normal." We get on the shuttle and they get off at the same stop as us and the cutest thing was, he was carrying his and her backpacks as well as her skateboard. He gently lays the board on the ground and she gets on it and while still holding on to her pink backpack, he assists her while she glides on the skateboard. They seemed so chill and gave off that kinda vibe that just made you smile if you were around...at least it made me smile. It was too cute. No added/extra'd out PDA, just simplistic, "I care about you" & "I'm happy to be with you" kinda love.
Now, I don't know if that couple gets down and dirty inside closed doors or whatever, cuz they could be the freakiest sexual deviants but it was just so refreshing to see something so genuinely sweet and endearing as a boyfriend assisting his girl on the small of her back so she doesn't fall off her skateboard. Even more so, wearing a nerdy sweater to top it all off!!! I mean, what guy does that nowadays?! I'm not hating on anyone (male or female) who "do they thang" at all, cuz that's their choice, and I've made some like such before, I just like seeing little cute things like that from time to time cuz like I said before, the littlest things mean the world to me.
maybe i have a vivid imagination. maybe you gave an amazing description of the situation. maybe a combination of the two. but i definitely smiled lol. it's good to see people in loving relationships. especially in public. it seems like there's so much gender bashing going on from broken hearts that neither men or women are given a fair chance to start their own little love story.
