I think of the nearness of your sister December
bringing in the almost winter breeze and Christmas trees.
I think of the leaves falling and the couples falling in love
under those same whispering winds
that blow right by me as I look out my window
and feel the coolness of your breathe across my cheek.
How nice it is to get cozy in front of a fireplace
sipping on some hot cocoa
while a sweet romantic movie
or even a comedy
starts rolling
as my tears start falling
because of the beauty you spring
and the joy you bring
It's almost hard to breathe
because there's so much to take in.
Ahhh, I do appreciate you...
but lately you've been just like summer,
Bringing warmth I'm not used to
Especially in your time of the year
when love songs feel more romantic
cuddling is much more wanted
& smiles seem warmer because of your coolness.
I guess I'll just have to get used to you changing
because no matter how you act,
you still make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...
